ROBERTS, Henry David (1870-1951) Newcastle 1885; CL St Saviour's 1893; CL Brighton 1906-1935
Prior to his appointment to BRIGHTON he was one of the foremost influences on professional education, generally and specially in connection with the Summer Schools and the LSE classes. He was made LA Honorary Fellow in 1906. At BRIGHTON his outstanding administrative talents brought him also the Directorship of the Publicity Department (1912-1929) and of the Royal Pavilion Estates (1920-1935).
